Please note: This is a mirror journal for what I hope will become my permanent journal on Inksome. If you would like an invite to Inksome, please let me know.
It takes more courage to accept the help of others than to tough it out on your own. Pride can only get you so far before your world falls down around you.
Vital stats: I'm Allison. Nicknames include Talula, Al, and Alpo. Call me Ali, Aly, Ally, Alli, etc. and you die. I'm 27, female, queer and in love with my girlfriend of over 2 years, Katie. I don't particularly care about labels, which is why queer is about as specific as I'll get in the LGBTQ spectrum. I consider myself agnostic and a liberal-leaning moderate. Yet I grew up in a Christian family that predominantly remains that way to this day. However my family is not overbearing and understands that I need to follow my own beliefs. One of those silly online quizzes said I'm a humanist and a socialist, which basically means I believe in the inherent good and bad in people. Pretty much spot on there.
I'll friend-add almost anybody who adds me to their friends list. I check semi-regularly to see if anybody new has added me. There are some exceptions of who I won't add. They're rare.
